Rose Agnew is a Melbourne artist whose interests in art, science, history and nature are the focus of her practice. Rose's explorations into the interior worlds of contemplation and intimacy are paired with the use of found objects and detailed imagery. Her practice is focused primarily in painting, small sculpture and precious metal jewellery. Her Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, majoring in Gold and Silversmithing has been a starting point for many roads of discovery. Rose's ongoing interest is in the expression and transmission of ideas that both originate in and form a sense of identity.
Photography credits Thank you to Graham Baring for the exceptional jewellery photographs. And the wonderful "First Glance" photographs are by Ken Irwin. All the other rather ordinary photographs are my own.
