Bright Lights

Bright Lights is a richly layered brooch combining sterling silver, 18ct yellow gold, and bespoke acrylic elements in vivid contemporary colour.

Constructed from multiple individually fabricated components, the piece is assembled primarily through riveting, allowing the layered structure to remain visible throughout the work. The circular arrangement of luminous acrylic forms creates shifting fields of colour and reflection, recalling illuminated signage, theatre lights, electronic displays, or tiny glowing lenses suspended within silver architecture.

The mirrored and polished surfaces interact dynamically with surrounding light, while the gold accents introduce warmth and depth within the composition.

Balancing precision engineering with playful ornamentation, the brooch functions simultaneously as jewellery, miniature construction, and colour study.
