Cartography

Cartography is a sculptural ring featuring concentric layered green forms rising from a sterling silver platform like a miniature topographic landscape.

Constructed entirely from reclaimed materials, the piece transforms recycled acrylic into a vivid architectural surface that recalls contour maps, islands, growth rings, aerial terrain views, and geological formations. The layered structure creates shifting shadows and subtle tonal variation across the surface, giving the ring a surprising sense of depth despite its graphic simplicity.

Balancing precision with playfulness, the ring functions simultaneously as adornment, miniature landscape, and abstract mapping device.

Its bold circular form sits prominently on the hand while remaining lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Top approximately 25 mm in diameter. Ring size approximately L 1/2 (16 mm).

This ring cannot be resized due to its construction, though similar custom versions may be commissioned.
