Your Apron Making Set has been carefully prepared with everything you need to complete your project. Each set is pre-cut, so you can begin sewing straight away while learning the fundamentals of using a sewing machine. Your Notions Box includes coordinating Gütermann Sew-all thread, a new machine needle, pins, a printed seam allowance ruler, and a custom fabric care label to sew into your finished apron.

Along the way you'll learn to change a machine needle, wind and insert a bobbin, thread the machine, sew confidently in a straight line, reverse stitch, press your work, and finish your project with pride. You'll also discover simple ways to personalise your apron with contrast details, pockets, extension strips, and other thoughtful design features.

Everything is provided, including premium materials, equipment, illustrated online instructions, homemade cake, tea and coffee. You're welcome to bring your own sewing machine or reserve one of ours.

 

About the workshop

Hosted by Rose of House of Windsor Studios in collaboration with Charlene at Reign Salon & Retreat.

This fully guided, small-group workshop is designed for complete beginners. Pre-cut pieces allow you to begin sewing straight away, with illustrated online instructions available afterwards. Homemade cake, tea and coffee are included.

What you make and Learn

Make a quality 100% linen bib apron from a beautiful selection of fabrics and accent colours. Inclusive, flexible sizing and a variety of optional features allow you to personalise the fit and design.

Learn how to change the needle, wind the bobbin, thread the machine and sew confidently in a straight line. Your apron is designed to be completed during the workshop.

What to Bring

Everything is provided. If bringing your own sewing machine, please also bring its power cord, foot pedal and instruction manual, (and check that it works!)
