Small Wheels Keep on Turning

Small Wheels Keep on Turning is a playful pair of contemporary earrings combining mirrored silver discs with vivid pink, green, and black acrylic elements.

As the earrings move, the reflective silver surfaces amplify and shift the surrounding colours, creating subtle optical changes and flashes of light. Though smaller in scale than their larger counterpart, they maintain the same lively sense of movement and graphic presence.

The coloured acrylic components are custom made from reclaimed industrial offcuts, introducing a material dialogue between precious metal, synthetic colour, and repurposed waste material.

Balancing geometric precision with playful ornamentation, the earrings reference kinetic jewellery, spinning toys, and modernist colour studies while remaining highly wearable.

Silver discs measure approximately 15 mm in diameter. Total length approximately 40 mm.
