Details

Create your own sterling silver spinner ring in this hands-on jewellery workshop at House of Windsor Studio.

Learn jewellery-making techniques including texturing, stamping, oxidising, polishing, and rotary tool finishing while creating a tactile ring with one or more moving outer bands. Participants can choose from a range of spinner styles and wire profiles, including smooth, hammered, and organic wrapped forms, allowing each ring to develop its own character and movement.

The workshop explores both classic and contemporary spinner ring styles, from slimmer everyday bands to broader layered designs. Rings may be finished bright polished or oxidised, with opportunities to personalise through stamping, textures, and layered spinner compositions.

Participants may customise their rings further with optional additional spinners and precious metal upgrades.

Each participant receives a presentation box, silver polishing cloth, and a professionally photographed image of their finished ring. Tea, coffee, and homemade cake are served in the adjoining kitchen space during the workshop.

Beginner friendly, small-group, and all materials included.

About the workshop

Spinner rings feature moving outer bands that gently rotate around the ring, creating a tactile and calming object that can be worn every day.

This workshop offers a focused introduction to jewellery making within a calm and supportive studio environment. Students are guided through each stage of the process with an emphasis on material understanding, confident making, and contemporary design.

A range of sample rings is available to help determine sizing, proportions, spinner arrangements, and finishing options across both narrower and wider band styles.

Soldering and core assembly are completed by Rose during the workshop to ensure durable, professionally finished results while participants complete the shaping, refining, texturing, polishing, and final finishing stages themselves.
